Tri-Valley Fix Our Ferals

Thank You

Tri-Valley Fix Our Ferals is indebted to many for help us get started in 2005 as well as in our continuing operations – but we wish to especially thank the following people and organizations:

DR. LORI DABACO, DVM is TVFOF's Supervising Veterinarian.  She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and has practiced small animal medicine in the SF Bay Area since then.  Her special interests include oncology, geriatric medicine, and soft tissue surgery.  Dr. Dabaco has volunteered at the Window Rock Veterinary Clinic in the Navaho Nation (Arizona) as well as in the rehabilitation of wildlife in Guatemala. Dr. Dabaco's veterinary practice is at Eden Pet Hospital in Castro Valley, CA. You can learn more about the services provided by Eden Pet Hospital at www.edenvet.com.

Dianne and Frederick DORN

East Bay SPCA (Dublin, CA facility) generously allows us to use the Tri-Valley Spay/Neuter Surgery Center on clinic days. You can learn more about the East Bay SPCA at www.eastbayspca.org.

Fix Our Ferals (Berkeley, CA) – the “original” Fix Our Ferals – is the extremely successful program which TVFOF has replicated. TVFOF, in fact, wouldn’t exist without the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm of FOF’s Linda McCormick, Dairne Ryan, and Dr. Rene Gandolfi, DVM (of Companion Animal Hospital in Castro Valley). More information on Fix Our Ferals is available at their website www.fixourferals.org.

Marian KENDALL loved animals all of her life.  Mrs. Kendall passed away in 2004 and planned for her estate to go to causes about which she felt strongly, including those addressing animal welfare issues.  TVFOF was one of the fortunate recipients. We also thank Mrs. Kendall's friend, Charlene Locke, who facilitated the donation.

MWI VETERINARY SUPPLY generously donated spay hooks to TVFOF.  We are also grateful to our MWI sales representative, Rebecca, who patiently walked us through the process of buying the surgical instruments.
